Providence Subdivision is a community consist of 655 homes. It is located at the Southwest corner of the city of Houston’s metropolis and Northeast corner of Fort Bend County, Texas. It has jurisdiction of Fort Bend County.

The Providence Community Association, Inc. (PCA) was incorporated in 1980 to handle the business involved in overseeing the Providence community.  All Providence homeowners are members.  A board of 5 directors, volunteer Providence home owners, manages the PCA.  Resident volunteers, in addition to the board members, are a vital part of the PCA. 

PCA Board meetings are usually held on the 3rd Monday of the month, 7:00pm at the Providence Clubhouse, 9114 Woodleigh, Houston,TX  77083. The meetings are held to conduct Association business.  If you wish to be placed on the agenda of an upcoming meeting, please contact SBB Community Management, at 281-537-0957

The Board will have a homeowner forum at the beginning of the meeting.  Owners and/or topics are limited to no more than five (5) minutes.  If there are lengthy discussions, the Board reserves the right to place the matter on the agenda of an upcoming meeting.

Items that may be discusses in Executive Session include: pending or threatened litigation, contract negotiations, enforcement actions, confidential communications with the Association attorney, and confidential matters involving individual owners.

Each homeowner pays a yearly assessment to Providence Community Association, Inc.  The Annual Assessment is due by January 1 of each year for that year.  

The assessments are used to pay for community expenses including, but not limited to,:  mosquito fogging, landscape & fencing, maintenance of the common areas, street lights, deed restriction enforcement, and the operation and maintenance of the Providence facilities (pool, tennis courts, clubhouse, playgrounds and parks).

Providence has two swimming pools (one kiddy pool and one regular 5-lane pool with an attached deep-end), three tennis courts/pickleball courts, children playground and grassy park for residents to use free of charge. Residents must obtain swimming pools access card and tennis courts key to enter these facilities.

Providence is located in the Fort Bend Independent School District (FBISD) and is zoned to:

    • Arizona Fleming Elementary School (pre-K – 5th)
    • Hodges Bend Middle School (6th – 8th)
    • Kempner High School (9th – 12th)

The Providence is in juridiction of Fort Bend County, Texas and is protected and served by the Fort Bend County Sheriff and Constable

The HOA Board consists of 5 volunteers who are elected by the Providence homeowners for a 2-year term to manage the Providence Community Association (PCA). 

Open HOA Board meeting is scheduled to start at 7:00 PM on the 3rd Monday of each month at the Providence Clubhouse. Residents are encouraged to attend.

NOTE: There will be at least two HOA Directors that will have their terms expired in January of each year. If you are interested in running for the HOA Board Seat, starting on November 1st, we will allow you to post a paragraph about yourself and why you want to run for the position so the voters can make an informed decision.
