Hello Neighbors

This website is designed to provide the Providence residents with useful information about the neighborhood. After years of absence, it is now back online.

This website is created and managed by volunteering residents, and they are working as fast as they can to put on helpful and important information that you can use, and a little humor to give you a good laugh.  Feel free to provide your feedback by emailing to either the editor at [email protected] or the webmaster at [email protected]

Please keep checking back regularly as more and more information will be posted/updated as soon as it is available.

Select 2 HOA Board Directors

NOTICE OF ANNUAL MEETING

Providence Community Association, Inc. will hold its 2025 Annual Meeting for all homeowners on:

DATE AND TIME: Monday, June 16, 2025, at 7:00 pm

 LOCATION:          Arizona Fleming Elementary School
14850 Bissonnet St, Houston, TX 77083

This meeting is to be held to elect two (2) Directors to fill the expiring two-year terms. Please be aware that in order to conduct this meeting, the Association must be represented by 10% (which is 66 properties) of the membership entitled to vote, either in person or by proxy. It is imperative that you either attend this meeting or return your proxy.

Read notice (including Proxy form) from SBB Management

Providence HOA will be holding its annual meeting and election on June 16, rescheduled from January 20, to fill 2 seats on the Board.  A third seat on the Board is currently empty due to the resignation of Director and President Paul Weider on October 21 of last year and may or may not be filled by the consensus of the four-member Board depending on its composition after the election (confirmation by three votes for).

The election is being overseen by a Receiver, Judge Levi Benton

A group of concerned homeowners who want to keep Providence property values high and amenities maintained for the homeowners/residents to enjoy petitioned Fort Bend County 400th District Court for relief.  A hearing was held on March 20; a Temporary Injunction Order (TIO) was granted and a Receiver, Judge Levi Benton, was assigned to make sure that a legal election is held.

The TIO and transcript of the hearing are available at https://pca77083.org/alerts.  Please review this information and make your own informed decision on who to vote for.   This community has never been so divided, or the Board been so dysfunctional before (and I have lived here going on 42 years).

If you want to help take back the community for the homeowners, volunteer to run for the open positions.  We need transparency and Board members who have concern for all residents equally.

Thank you.
