Yard of The Month

Summer heat is here, but the front yard of Lola Cook at 8814 Heatherley offers a cool breeze with lots of color!

A variety of blooming bushes fill this yard with life and color – including magenta Crepe Myrtle, purple and white Altheas,  orange Pride of the Barbados, and yellow Esperanza.  The next layer lower includes yellow and orange Canna Lillies, blue and white Agapanthus, white Nile Iris, yellow bearded Iris and array of daylilies in countless hues.  Not to be outdone, on the lowest level are incredible bold orange protea-like blooms, red and green & white variegated Caladium.

This landscape is more than a garden – it is a gift. A generous expression of care and creativity that enriches not only the home it surrounds, but the entire Providence community. It stands as a beautiful reminder of how one space, thoughtfully nurtured, can bring joy to so many.
