    The schedule is as follows:

Election day: Saturday, May 2, 2026  from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm

Early voting: Monday April 20 through April 28  from 7:00 am – 7:00 pm
                      EXCEPT Tuesday April 21  – voting closed.
                                   Sunday April 26  from 12:00 pm (Noon) to 6:00 pm

Why West Keegan Bayou Improvement District is essential to Providence and the surrounding neighborhoods?

West Keegans Bayou Improvement District is responsible for maintaining and improving flood control.

An order granting petition for organization of West Keegans Bayou Improvement District was made on March 14, 1979. The order provided authority to the District, per the Texas Water Code, to purchase, construct, acquire, own operate, repair, maintain, improve, or extend a drainage system for the District to permit it to control, abate, change harmful excesses of water, and to gather, conduct, divert, and control local storm waters and other local harmful excesses of water.
