Yard of The Month

We welcome October with the promise of cooler weather – but you wouldn’t know it by looking at the beautiful Reyes yard at 15006 Berkshire Green Drive! Even after months of Houston heat, this garden continues to put on a spectacular show of color.
Two stately pine trees anchor the front yard, surrounded by a cheerful tapestry of purple Angelonia, white, pink and dark pink vinca, and vibrant red and pink Pentas. Between the pines, a colorful mound of similar flowers surrounds a container showcasing a charming miniature red rose bush.
A lush hedge of Loropetalum guides visitors along the walkway to the front door, while a blooming hibiscus adds another splash of color near the driveway.
Along the front of the home, gardenias and roses add fragrance and classic beauty. There is a large Galphimia gracillis (Thriallis) in front of the window, covered in a profusion of yellow blooms.
What a wonderful way to welcome October – and a beautiful reminder that even our hottest months can produce an abundance of garden beauty! Congratulations to the Reyes family for being selected as the Providence Yard of the Month!
